Masks are welcome at the Art Museum, but not required. Please visit for current requirements.

The Art Museum is open Thursday through Sunday from 12:30 to 6:00 p.m. Admission is free.

The Art Museum of WVU is located at 20 Fine Arts Drive on the Evansdale campus in Morgantown, West Virginia, next to the Loulie, Valerie and William Canady Creative Arts Center. Take Patteson Drive (705) to Morrill Way to find parking and the museum entrance.

Visitors to the museum may park in Short Term Lot 1 (ST-1) or Short Term Lot 9 (ST-9). Between 8:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m., the fee for Lot 1 is $.50/hr and Lot 9 is $1.25/hr. Both lots are free after 4:00 p.m. and on weekends, unless there is a special event such as a home football game.

Visitors may also park for free anywhere in Area 51 on weekends and after 5:00 p.m. on weekdays. Visitors may park in the designated spots marked “RESERVED” for the Art Museum before 5:00 p.m. on weekdays, but must request a parking pass from the museum front desk. Parking in this lot without a pass or permit will result in a citation from WVU Parking & Transportation.

ADA accessible parking is available at the bottom of the driveway adjacent the museum’s entrance. Parking here is free.
