Thanks to donations to the Art Museum of WVU, more than 4,000 people enjoyed free admission to the museum last year; 1,500 school children have come for a visit; and more than 200 hours of free programs and events were offered to the campus community and the general public. All gifts to the museum have an immediate and tangible impact, and they help keep culture and creativity alive across West Virginia.
Our largest support group is the Friends of the Art Museum. If you’d like a sustained relationship to the museum, consider becoming a Friend. As a part of this membership group, you’ll meet artists, curators, and collectors; have inside access to private collections and artists’ studios; and enjoy exclusive events and travel opportunities with fellow art lovers—all for a yearly cost equal to a month or two of iced coffees that you might buy on your way to work.
Becoming a Friend of the Art Museum includes individual, dual, and business memberships.
All memberships run from July 1 to June 30 of the following year, and we’ll send you a renewal reminder in late spring.
