Art Up Close!

Art Up Close! lectures are designed to give an in-depth look at a single work of art selected from the WVU Art Collection. Each presentation features an original work of art and commentary by WVU faculty or guest artists, followed by a question-and-answer session and light refreshments. Audience members have the opportunity to view the actual work of art.

Programs are held from 5:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. throughout the academic year in the Grand Hall of the Museum Education Center, adjacent to the Art Museum. The series is free and open to the public.

Art Up Close! is sponsored by the Art Museum of West Virginia University and The Friends of the Art Museum.
